Michelle Auyeung, O.D.

Dr. Michelle Auyeung is a proud Colorado native, having been born and raised in the vibrant community of Westminster, CO. Dr. Michelle’s pursuit of a career in optometry began after completing her education at Lakewood High School. She continued her academic journey at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she majored in Integrative Physiology and Psychology. This foundation in the sciences and human behavior provided the perfect foundation for her future in optometry.

Her passion for helping others see clearly led her to the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she embarked on her optometric doctoral training. Throughout her time in Chicago, Dr. Michelle was an active member of several esteemed organizations, including the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the Multicultural Society, and the Private Practice Club. She excelled in her studies and graduated with honors in 2015.

After earning her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Michelle felt the pull of her Colorado roots. She initially practiced in Colorado Springs, but her heart longed to be closer to her family in Denver. In 2016, Dr. Michelle Auyeung began her journey as an independent Doctor of Optometry, practicing inside Target Optical. Her commitment to providing exceptional eye care and personalized service quickly became evident to her patients.

In 2023, driven by a desire to offer an even higher level of care and to create a unique patient experience, Dr. Michelle took a bold step. She decided to venture out on her own and opened her private practice. With her expertise, dedication, and a deep connection to the Colorado community, Dr. Michelle Auyeung’s private practice aims to provide comprehensive eye care with a warm, welcoming environment for all.
